Round one ended up a failure as somewhere along the line it became infected with something <a href="http://billweiser.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/porter_day2.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-21" title="porter_day2" src="http://billweiser.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/porter_day2.jpg" alt="porter_day2" width="116" height="153" /></a>or other and ended up tasting like rubbing alcohol (a sign the beer is infected I&#8217;m told).  That was a honey kolsch that Bryan and I brewed up in his keggle.  This batch is &#8220;Craig&#8217;s Portside Porter&#8221; and touts an original gravity of 1.056-1.060 and a final gravity of 1.015-1.020 vs. the honey kolsch coming in at an O.G. of 1.045-1.050 and a F.G. of 1.014-1.017.Â   This was also my first attempt at brewing indoors in a big pot.  This batch is on it&#8217;s second day in the first 6 gallon carboy.  It appears to be pretty active already.  I&#8217;m pumped man.</p>
